Hey Joe,

I see Castle's coming out with a switching BEC with a pretty good output. That is sweet!

My 35% ELECTRIC Giles 202's radio is currently being powered by a Duralite setup, but it sure would be nice to shave several ounces off the plane with a pair of these BECs.

Can they be run in parallel? I'd put one on each 6S pack, and run each one to an input on my SmartFly Power Expander.

How about the Pixie 20 amp brushed BEC, can they be run in parallel? I need to power two Speed 400 motors and four servos from a 9.9 volt A123 battery. The receiver is a JR. AR6200. It would be nice to have the 2X servo amperage for the servos. Is this possible? The short answer will work for me as well! :D Thanks, SOS

I think this question deserves its own new thread.

My guess is that you you got something labeled as Berg that isnt.

Id contact Castle directly and let them know ASAP.

Thanks to all responed
I hear from Joe at Castle and it looks like someone( LHS or their supplier) is running a scam as Joe said any Berg xstal will have their label- not GWS imprinted on the xstal I will be "confering" with the LHS !!
More will be revealed!!!!

Hello to whoever!
I have a new question ?
I installed a Thunderbird 54 ESC in a new strker 27c I put togerther- everything sounds correct on hooking up the battery -throttles up fine , servos work correctly.BUT after a short time ( 30 -60- seconds ) a single beep come out and that repeats about approx every minute ?
I have not flowed this plane yet ! worried about that single beep-this is my first time using a thunderbird esc.
Anyone have any info ?
thanks
Bob

Matt...you can now run multiple BECs...see the CC BEC page on the site for a wiring schematic. We're working on higher voltage and higher amperage BECs as well. :)
