The E-Flite "46" outrunner is certainly a viable option for conversions calling for a .46 to .61 2-stroke glow, with a 4S LiPoly and a 12x8 prop I believe.

Had a Sig 1/5th J3 for a while - a PITA to carry around, so I sold it.

84.5" span - real 1/5th scale, not 81" IMAA legal. Weighed just over 8lb with 16 x 3000mA NiMh. Kit was one of the two best kits I've ever built, looked at lightening it up, decided what I could save wasn't worth the effort, so built it right out of the kit box.

Motor was a MaxCim geared around 2.75:1 swinging a 16 x 8 APC-E - never did check the amps as I couldn't get my Wattmeter into the motor circuit in the model, but I figured it was around 25 - 28A flat out. This produced around 6,000RPM and was only flat out at take off and maybe for a loop if I remembered.

Anything that can swing over 12" of prop with 500W or thereabouts would do as long as you want to fly Cub-like.

Hope that helps
