can somone please explain what all the different numbers and letters mean:D

Example?

2S2P 2200 15C = 2 1100 cells in series - voltage 8.4, then two of these in parallel giving a capacity of 2200 mAh and a voltage of 8.4. 15C means you can discharge at the paralllel packs at 15 X 2.2 = 33 Amps.

Red's edit obviated this post. Never mind!

ok, i have more questions. when people mention discharge rate, do they mean the rate at which the motor is drawing power or the rate at which the charger is discharging from.

It obviously depends on the context but when people are referring to the maximum discharge rate, typically expressed as 10C or 15C, they are talking about current drawn from the cells in any way. Usually motor current will be higher than the discharge current from a charger/discharger but it doesn't matter which is which. It's the maximum current you should ever try to pull out of the battery, however it's arrived at.
