GWS 262 fan shafts

The two motor shafts run true without the aluminum adapters that fit over the shafts to hold the fan blades on. When installed aluminum tubes run motors up, and they run way out, vibrate like crazy, any ideas?? :blah: DAVE

If its the recent newer style adapters, then it may be one from the bad batch. GWS had a batch where the machine operator drilled the adapters off center. As you probably know, these things have to be DEAD ON CENTER. I had heard that they are correcting the problem, but I think the replacement adapters are still on backorder. If you can get some of the old style ribbed press in adapters, I'm almost sure that they will work fine. I don't think they changed the inner rotor hub diameter.
