Does anyone out there know which helicopter to use from the list that would duplicate the E-FLITE BLADE CP in the G3?? Also were to put the G3 settings to in order to be very realistic as to the real life BLADE CP??

I am new to this and need help as well. Can I use my BCP TX with the G3? I am guessing by reading your question that you are doing just that. May I ask where you got the USB cord that will work with the TX.

Hello kjspruill; I really don't know. I use the TX that comes with the G3. I know that the G3 does come with adaptors for various brands of Transmitters though! The TX that the G3 comes with also has a wire hooked to it and on the computer end it has a USB connector! Hope this helps, Ace999

Thanks Ace999, I would like to be able to use my CP TX with the G3. If I find something I will let you know.

I have made available for download a simulation that attempts to mimic the blade. I call it the "If You Can Fly This You Can Fly Anything" simulation, but it's beginning to approximate the blade. If anyone wants to help 'tune' the simulation, I'm all for that.

right click, "save target as", put it in your "Program Files/RealFlight/Planes" directory.

Truth be told, it probably flys more like my piccolo :)

Were you able to download it?
Install it in the correct directory?
Locate it on the custom aircraft section of the select aircraft dialog?
It will appear as a WattFlyer - (sorry i'm new at this)
At what point did you run into trouble?

To tunretni; When I right click on the link you provided, the "save as target" it is ghosted and has no functionability and the rest is history,Ace 999.

Okay, I actually installed it using firefox, so, you could d/l that browser. Or, if you paste the url into your browser it will show you the text in the file which you could then do a 'save as' from your browser to the appropriate file/directory.

Or, send me an email address and I'll email you the file as an attachment.

Have fun. I'm hoping to hear some feedback soon.

I changed the main rotor airfoil and the simulation is a little more tame. I still can't get 3d working well though.

ive never flown the blade, but recently the hornet x3d has been added to the downloads at www.reflex-sim.de

i am wondering if someone who flies the blade would look at it (the x3d and tweak it to mimic the blade?)

oh whoops...sorry, my post was for Reflex XTR...i see this if RFG3...my apologies.

Try this version called BladeLike for G3:

Once you download it you will find a Readme file explaining where each file should go.

Hi guys, I am new to the forum so I thought I would say thanks for the G3 link so I could practice flying my blade Cp. I will say this about the Blade though it is much harder to fly than the sim. I thought after all of my years flying airplane that this would some how be easy but I guess not. Thanks again and I will see you guys around.
