Heres my version of the RCPOWERS.COM Eurofighter. This plane is much larger than his others but a simple 2 servo setup is all that needed to have fun. The motor is static mounted on the rear with a cheap BM2409-12T outrunner and 8x6 prop so it has plenty of power. It took one of my 2100 3 cells to make it balance but once in the air its very nimble and floaty.
Because of the larger battery I also had to add a little weight to a wing tip to correct lateral balance but its no big thing. The plane is a super fast build and mine was RTF in under a hour. There were no surprises and the foam all fit as it should have. I don't have a scale here but guess the AUW to be in the 15 to 17 ounce range but it flies like a much lighter plane.
All and all I have been pretty please with the plane and at some point it may get a functional rudder but thats about it. Nice work Dave Powers, Cant wait to see what you come up with next. :D
