I have been buying a lot of stuff from these guys for the last year or so with GREAT success.
I must have had 7 or 8 orders with them in that time and have NEVER had any complaint with the service, or the delivery.
Only once did he not have a part I ordered. Mike emailed me, and told me it would be a "couple of days" if I wanted the part, so I said hold the order until it shows up, and low and behold, my complete order was here in a "couple of days" later than it normally was :D
I have ordered motors, esc's, rx's, bits and pieces, umpteen props and adaptors, gws EDF's, wire, connectors, Li-Po's, etc, etc, and only had that one item (spare blade for edf 40 if I am right) not in stock. Everything else has been in stock. Pretty impressive I say.
To make it even better, the prices are pretty darn good too!
Cheers
Paul
Totally agree with you.I,ve used them a few times and have had great service from Mike.

not to jump on the bandwagon here...more calling it like i see it...great prices, fast service...no support and alot of items shipped from OS (china/taiwan) when you order (check the dispatch details on your order) and onus is on you to pay GST to customs. (hence cheap prices)...word of warning, if you receive many items over a period of time, you COULD be victim of customs assessment and be required to pay GST and a fine.
customs track all orders in, and contrary to popular belief, actually combine orders over time. Sure there are limitations applied to individual orders, but simply splitting them into portions doesnt fool customs.

me and my mates bought a lot from ACW and eFlyPower and ebay all over the world. No custom duty been taxed ever, no fine either. :D
How did Custom track individual mails over time? There are so many international mails and parcels incoming in, they would be too busy to keep track for everyone's :o
ACW and eFlyPower are great, great products and great prices.:D
eFlyPower seems to change to new website, I got their email annoucement. They are now doing what ACW do, offer loyality points for loyal customers :D Pretty hard to decide which one to been loyal to now :p

my point is that they sell into country and avoid costs that other sellers in those countries cant avoid.
is that fair?...nope.. but hey, who cares, right?....as long as we get the cheap stuff.
ACW are in a different boat to EFP.

yeah they suck...the aussie goverment needs to look at this as it means we arent playing on a level field with the ROW.
it actually encourages purchases OS. Part of the problem is that customs doesnt regulate it tightly enough so that everyone's in the same boat...it's too big of a job to check every item coming in....so they need to either reduce things like taxes and duties, or give tax credit to even it out.

Customs does not combine packages over time, the only time package values are ever combined is when they arrive the same day from the same place, they will then be combined when scanned through and if over a set amount an informal clearance is required.
As for taxes, you will find most of the small local sellers online import their goods with invoiced amounts under the limit (which has been recently raised) and dont end up paying GST on the goods anyway.

mocca.
if you import for selling, you HAVE to pay GST. even if under $1000. Also, if you import for yourself, you should pay GST...if you dont, you run the risk of customs fining you. you just dont need to do a formal clearance if under $1000.
if you try to import a series of packages over time that amount to over $1000...customs are watching you....if you import several $900 packages over a period of time, you will get caught.
why should one guy importing $5000 per hit have to pay costs when another imports $5000 split over a month not have to?...
