Tell me about hot wire cutting EPP. Bad stuff ?

Epp is not bad. Its the fumes that will kill you.
Just work in a well ventilated place to do your cutting.

any ideas for home made foam cutter? I want to cut blue foam wings.

I use a simple one made from a piece of 2x4 with pieces of 3/4" PVC water pipe sticking out the ends like a W without the center part. An eyebolt is in the end of each piece of PVC. Attach a piece of 50-70# test stainless steel fishing leader to one of the eyebolts and than compress the PVC pipes together and attach the other end of the wire. The compressed PVC pipes keep the wire very tight. Use a DC power supply to power bow. Voltage will depend on length of wire. 30" is about 12V.

Any hints of cutting blue foam before I screw up only two pannels I have??

what do U make templates of so the wire does not skid?
