Does anyone know how to replace a shaft in a Himaxx 2025 or a link for doing so?

Not a problem. Glad I could help.
The problem I have on one motor is the actual shat came out...I haven't taken it apart yet but will try this weekend now that I know how. Thanks
One more thin...hehe...I'm very tired sorry. Which would you recomend for a direct drive/speed setup with say 4.1x4.1 and 1000 3s the 2025-4200 or the 5300?

I think Himax dosen't use the best of shaft metals, and even more so think that they haven't always used the same grades. I seem to hear a lot of these breaking and just had to repair one a few weeks back. Slight use error as the fan was rubbing/unbalanced a bit, but I've never had that happen with worse running fans on other brands. The shaft itself was easy to press out with a hardened wire on a vise though, and press the new one in.
One interesting thing I discovered was this:
The 2025 longer shaft worked fine in the 2015 shorter motor. The extra shaft just sticks out the rear. No big deal. I could have ground it off, but why bother. Runs at high fan rpm fine.
What I decided was that if you are going to keep a spare shaft, buy the 2025 longer shaft, and you can then use it in both motors.
