I have a half-dozen flights on my Mini-E3D from Gary Wright Model Products, http://www.gwmp.net/HTML/miniE3D.htm

Here is my setup.

Hacker A20-20L
APC 10x4.7 Slo-Fly
CC Phoenix-25
Berg 5
Blue Bird BMS-371
Tanic 2200 3S
ParkBEC

This is a truly fine flying airplane. It makes me look like a much better pilot!

It hovers very easy, knife edge is great, good flat-spins, snaps, etc...Just need a longer servo arm on the elevator to tighten up the waterfall.

Gary's products are great - they all make us look better?

Fantastic setup - do you like that little hacker?

Sorry, no video, I am not that good of pilot!

So far I love the little Hacker, it is very quite and makes an extreme amount of power. I was having a little heat issue with the CC25, but I installed a ParkBEC, no more heat problems!

I was having a little heat issue with the CC25

Yep I too only have 2 CC controllers left. I have gone to Coolesc. Love them.

HI , I have Garys mini also it is awesome , mine has the stock hs-55 arms with the
control arm side at the outer most hole and it has plenty enough throw there for
high alpa , if you're having problems with the waterfall, parachute, ect it because
your cg is too far forward,it should cg out dead in the middle of the aeliron servos
try it there trust me you'll like it

Hey, thanks for the tip...I am balanced at the front of the aileron servo tray, per the manual. But the airplane is a 'piece 'o cake' to fly with the CG in that location.

I will move it back and see what happens.

Thanks again.

Just move the CG back,.. WAAY BACK. I am extremely conservative when I put CG ranges in my manuals so that the builder is always successfull on a first flight.
My personal mini-E3D's are balanced about 1/2 way back on the plywood aileron servo mount. I use the standard hs55 arms and I'm not even on the inner hole on the control horn. Elevator is more than enough. If I do a parachute, then come up on the power a bit to enter harrier flight, I have to release some of the elevator or it immediately enters hover from the propwash over the elevator. I do have some very long servo arms (www.robotzone.com (http://www.robotzone.com)) but after getting the CG back far enough, I don't use them, they give too much throw.the only "problem" with the mini is that I can't get enough wing tubes from the supplier. I've been out for well over a month now and don't have an estimated date of delivery. backorders pile up, I get 6 dozen wing tube assemblies, and fill backorders, then I'm out of wing tubes again, and backorders pile up. Ordering more at once doesn't help, as that's all they can supply at a time. I love plug-in wings, but due to supply issues, I don't think I'll ever do another plug-in wing plane.
