This seems to be one of the reasons that more people don't get into electric flight. It almost seems to be a "black art" to determining the correct motor size, battery type and configuration, ESC and charger.

I'd like to consider converitng my Hirobo scale EC135 to electric - but I have no idea what motor/battery/ESC/charger combination I need to replace the 90 size motor that is currently hauling this thinag around in the air.

Any help out there? Website?

Thanks for reading.

That's because there is no easy one-to-one relationship from IC to electric. On top of physical parameters such as weight, rotor span, there are just too many variables in electric from motor to batteries. KC has developed an electric heli spreadsheet which helps people get started, but it still takes some experiment of different setup to find the most optimal.
