Okay guys I got bored and started my Rake Eindecker from www.manzanolaser.com (http://www.manzanolaser.com). It was a full kit that I paid $15.00 for. It is laser cut and comes with wire for the landing gear. An aluminum tube for the elevator hinge and a small dowel that fits through the elevator hinge tube. I know!! I said that I wasn't going to build anymore tiny planes but I'd already bought this one awhile back!! So sue me!! Anyway, I pretty much have the fuse done. I plan to power it with either an Eflite 370 outrunner I have or a $7.00 outrunner I got from www.unitedhobbies.com (http://www.unitedhobbies.com). Will try to post pics either tonight or tomorrow. Does this Eindecker come with a gun or do you need to make something? I am working on making a printed paper Spandau.

Did you ever get any pics for us? I downloaded the plans, which are free on Manzano's site...but for $15 it may be worth it to buy the kit.

No Barmonkey. No pics yet!! Haven't really had time to work on it. Family, funerals, and work are bogging it down. I hope to get back on it soon. Buy the kit!! It's cheap and fun!! Steve

Ill be glad to get some time to work on it!! I am so busy right now!! There is another one sold by www.aerodromerc.com (http://www.aerodromerc.com) that is this size and might not be quite as fragile for $28 US. This site also has a store in Germany. Steve

Too lazy to start a new thread, I found this one, that's close enough.:D
Finished a 1962 purchased kit of the Sterling Eindecker at 25". There's still a bunch of these around, but they definitely ain't laser cut, like the Manzano kits. I'm now working on a Manzano Bristol M1c (Peter Rake design).

The little Eindecker converted and flew well with a brushed IPS geared setup and Polyquest 3s-300 lipo.

Edit: flown now too
