I've built three airplanes now, intending each to fly in our gymnasium. All three wound up as park flyers (two (7AC, and T-craft) wound up so tail heavy I had to add lead weights in the nose!). I need guidance to truly MICRO equipment suppliers - small in dimension, and in weight. Motors, batts, esc, servos, wheels, fasteners, etc. I want to keep my efforts to simulating real aircraft, but I must be able to keep their airspeeds under 20 mph to fly in our gym. There are a number of successful pilots in our group, but they offer help in a fast, knowledgeable jargon I am unable to keep up with, and they all fly unique equipment I can't find. I wind up taking notes, and always find out later I have no references to go to study and understand what they said. Almost everything in the marketplace is about Park Flyers (7+oz/sq ft and up) that always weigh more than 7 oz and up, and fly at 25+ mph.

There are many many suppliers of real micro equipment. Start from these threads over on RCGroups:

Hi, Leadcork
I can highly recommend Bob Selman Designs for parts, equiptment, and answers. His web site can be found at www.bsmicrorc.com (http://www.bsmicrorc.com) I think this may give a very good starting place for micro indoor.
Also there is a FREE Plans & Planes page at the GymDandy Flyers site : http://users.joplin.com/~wcflyer (http://users.joplin.com/~wcflyer) Radio control electrics War Birds.
Keep Them Flying ! Your friend, Ken

Slipstick and Ken - Thanks! Your suggestions got me onto many sites I have not seen before, and they look very helpful. Also, my Cessna, 7 AC and T-craft all fly well outdoors whenever the wind drops enough for me.
