First flight with the ST Labs 5 in 1 mini cam. I wish Youtube didn't compress the video so much :-( The lake FINALLY froze and the ice fisherman went out. The wind was almost non existent so I charged up two 1100Mah packs and hit the ice. The camera performed great. I wish I hadn't used up all five minutes of memory so quickly, because the flying got higher, loopier, and I did several LOOOOOONG SLIDE landings on the ice. If it stays calm, I might try out the night flying lights tonight. All I have to say is: "Yeehaw that was fun!!"

The day (night) got even more exciting. I decided to charge up a battery and go to the lake with the camera to test out my new airplane lighting. Well, I got more than I bargained for. Take a look, the photos speak for themselves. Bear in mind, I have lived around here for almost 40 years and have never seen the Aurora this far South.

Those are some of the eeriest photo's I have yet seen on these forums! I have Vangelis' "Spiral" playing on my PC while reading tonight, and it makes it fit's them perfectly http://mescal.pixelized.ch/smilies/witch.gif
