This is another project on the building board.
My other project the Concord is on hold till it gets a little warmer, I hate to paint inside :(
The one thing I like most about this foam is it is easy to work with.
I cut out every thing in double, :) it is easier to make 2 planes at once when you start from scrtach.
Now I got all my parts cut out for 2 Bandits now this time I used both grey and white depron for parts
here are some photos I still got to do some sanding and install some gear
This one will be a pusher but the next will probably be a EDF

Well I am not exactly sure, it might 70 or 75 percent the wing span comes out to 32 inches.
The reason I not sure is when I printed it out on my printer I have some problems with the size of the print, wish I had an oversize printer.
Today's printers are usual 8.5x11 or 8.5x14.
There are not to many 11 x17 printers out there that are cheap
I usually print my drawings on 8.5x14 but the usual problem is the printer will not run totaly to the end of the page when printing.
I know I could take my CDRW down to Kinko's but I like to do the work myself so I get to know my project
So I print out the drawings and headed to KINKO'S copy center.
You see I use to work there and I know alot about the copy world

The first Bandit will be the pusher unit
What I am planning to do with the second Bandit is put an EDF unit in it, say a 90mm or larger unit not sure yet, maybe what I might do is put these parts on the shelf for now, I will have 1 Bandit ready to go, that is good for now.
I am starting to rebuild my airforce again :D
I need an F-14 swing wing and maybe twin fans units
I saw plans for a F-16 and
I saw plans for a Mig 15
It looks like I will be building this winter

I did some more sanding on the nose and all over the plane.
I am taking a break from sanding.
I am getting ready to stick the radio gear next. :D

Well between sanding and trying to install the radio gear on a couple of projects, I got the elevator for the Bandit almost hooked up.
What really sucks is going back to work after being on vacation for the Holidays
I haven't made a choice between one or two wires yet.
As for the wing servo, I lost that servo's some where in my fleet of airplanes or my storage area,
I had three servos and I used one, somewhere in my place those two servos are I just can't think, where I put them
I need to clean my building area again :(

To EDF nuts;
Got back from the Mich. all electric Mid-Am event near Ann Arbor, MI.
Terry Nitsch was there with a neat little EDF foam jet. This is his first trip to the Mid-Am. You have seen him in the past at the big jet rally's with the turbine models. Another case of the big name modelers getting into electrics.
The little model he flew is amazing, goes straight up out of sight and yet
will hover, could do a pancake landing even. The model is foam but looks so good you would think it was built of balsa. His commpany is
teerificjets.com. They have 3 models, all about 24" w.s. All models are $65. The power package is $90, includes fan unit, motor and a C.C. esc.
The models do not fly real fast, probaly 50 mph tops. Good for old guys, like me and new into EDF. I gotta have one.
