I have never had to do this but is it going to cause a problem if I extend the wires from the ESC to the batteries. I want to extend by 6".

ESC is Hacker Acro 90, Batteries are 2x5s FP EVO 20's and motor is Hacker C50 15XL.

I've extended by similar amounts; due to the high currents use a heavier gauge wire for the extensions. This should minimise voltage drop and reduce the amount of power 'lost'. Apply the usual precautions of power leads and Rx proximity.

For what it's worth, Castle creation recommends as short a battery lead as possible and extending the motor wires.
