This is why you should spend more time on the sim practicing inverted flight! She will fly again as repairs are being done as we speak. Oh, I was NOT on the sticks when this crash occured isn't that right Autorail1?

Thanks for the reply. Good news is the fuse is already repaired and I'm waiting on a new cowl to come in. The wing should be done by tomorrow. I'm going to make my own motor mount and go with a 10x7 APC prop. Hopefully she will be back in the air by this time next week.

I can't say much from that day since I put my T28 into a tree. But thanks for the wing Autorail1.

Newjak, I have an extra prop that I can donate. Can pass it on next Thursday. (Unless the weather improves and we get together before then)

I have 1 stock prop, 1 APC 10x7, or an APC 9x7.5SF. Take your pick.

Yeah, that was a bad day for t-28's:( If you want to part with the stock prop I'll take it. I was about to order the Eurofighter but the "buy" button is not active on Sapacs site. Saved some money:D

OK, I have to set the record straight....I was NOT the pilot in the above crash! Although I have planted several of my planes in much more spectacular fashion. Some more than once!
The "credit" for this crash goes to Autorail1. I'm just in charge of the repairs.
I couldn't stand to see such a nice looking bird in so many pieces so I offered my services.

Also for the record I appreciate all of the responses

Reminds me of my first low level inverted pass...it looked so cool 200' high, I figured why not do a low pass? And then...brain lock, same results basically as yours. I had it patched up and flying the next day! I don't have a sim, so I just practiced REAL high up til I got the hang of it.

HA, I was hoping Justin would chime in. Did you ever get that medium sized gasser the rest of the way out of the tree. What about all the parts back together :) I have some pics of that beautiful plane, but you can not tell what it is. Looks like a scrap pile next to a construction site! How much was that thing any ways. Were you able to salvage the engine? nope jeff is not rod planes

The T-28 is coming along nicely. It will be flight ready by Thurs if the cowl gets here. I will be working on the wing today and the motor shaft needs to be straightened and its good to go.

I am taking credit for this crash. It was funny after I crashed it I told some guy to hold on to my radio for a second. When he took the radio from my hands, there were some people pulling into the parking lot looking at the after math. I pointed at HIM :) I thought it was pretty funny.Ah that sucks man. Poor Scott....Blamed.

Jeff did it for me guys. He knew that I felt pretty stupid after putting my T28 into a tree that he went out and crashed his so that I could have his wing. That's a true PAL! Thanks for the sacrifice Jeff.

Ouch! I'll give you a hint planes land on wheels, not nose first ;) Mine lands on it's belly 'cause it's so fat and it just loves hay fields :) BTW, who flied this time?
