Has anyone successfully converted one of these to electric power? If so, what set up did you use? I read about some guys trying it awhile back but they never seemed truly successful at it. I just want to know if it's worth the time and money to do it.

I have one with an AXI 2212/20 Brushless outrunner, Jeti speed controller, a Thunder Power 11.1v 2100 Mah battery pack and Polk Hobbies servos. I stripped mine & recovered it to look like the tripe on display at the EAA Museum in Osh Gosh, Wisconsin.
You need to be on the rudder for take-offs & landings, but in the air this thing is a joy to fly! If you get one, please post photos!

I guess I missed the Tirplane. It's not on their home page now. I like what you have done with yours.
