Ducted fans offer a sense of realism not found in pusher prop jets. This is an exciting technology few to tackle, but all love to see fly. Welcome ducted fan jet flyers.

I working on finishing a "Micro Wave" which is a reduced size of the Rich Uravich's Mini Wave. The Micro-wave has a 36" WS and I'm using a We Mo Tec mini Fan with a Mega Motor. Also plan to use 2 3S TP 2100 MAH Lipos and a Castle Creations 35 amp ESC.
Sould be ready for test flight in a couple of weeks.

I have a few projects going now. An F-14 (JHH), an Su-27 (Savage Industries) and a Blohm & Voss P-212 (RBC). The B&V is almost ready for paint, the other two are maybe 1/4 each...I'm still researching scale data and deciding what I need to do while they're just "bones" right now. Each will probably end up requiring at least 7 or 8 channels and hopefully by the time they're done battery costs will have dropped some more. :) One thing I've learned about Electric, and EDF especially is that it may be clean and somewhat quiet, but it certainly not cheap!

Currently I'm flying an Alpha MIG which is about ready to fall apart and a Carbon Falcon for something relaxing and inexpensive. I also have a Projeti which is waiting for a new prop and it'll be back in the air.
