Beautiful day for a maiden...winds under 5 mph, freshly charged lipos. Here we go! The sound of twin ducted fans is awsome. Nice straight take off roll ,not too long and up we go!(Whooosshh!) After maidening my HP EF16 this seemed kinda slow but it was flying. OH SNAP!! What was that? Something fell off of the plane as it was lifting off:( Its the right main landing gear! (Plink!) I bring it around for slow flyby to take a look see at the underside of the plane. I think I slowed it down a little too much:<: I punch full throttle and the plane does not accelerate quick enough to get me out of the trouble I just put myself in. OH SNAP again who put that light pole there?!! Plane smacks pole, ground smacks plane. Splat!! Game over for today. Damage is not that bad considering it had about a 20 foot drop from the pole.

Pole and wire. I realy felt bad for you today Newjak. Was terrible to watch. I hope that you get her back into the air quick. We'll see what happens with my Funjet. Gemini is ready to go on our next outing.

Was a bad day for jets today. I think that my Funjet got the gremlins from your Brio.

There is only one way to get rid of a gremlin. Put it in the microwave and press "start"

I discovered what caused my plane to lose power. The battery connector MELTED! Thats right the whole thing melted. I'm lucky the thing didnt burst into flames in mid air. I originaly thought it was my fault for slowing down to much, but the evidence is clear. I was so pissed at the time that I didnt really look for any defects that might have caused the crash because I thought it was something that I had done. I am going to fire off an email to the seller and see what happens.

I bought the jet from turbofanelectrics. I've been in contact with them and since it was late on Fri they said they would try to have answer from Sapac about my problem. Sounds like total BS to me ,but I will give them a chance to make good.
