Hi Buckshot,
Without knowing the exact glider you're converting, I'll make some general suggestions.
Build a front that's about as long as the nose was before, that is, including prop and spinner. A rounded, aerodynamic shape, nothing fancy.
Use hard balsa for the very tip, but behind that (where the motor used to be) hollow out the block for a RX battery, I'd say 800 to 1000mAH 4 cell NiMH. The best shape for the battery is the "block", that is 2 cells stacked on top of 2 cells, like a transmitter battery. A "flat" pack is hard to fit in a glider nose. Leave extra room around the battery pack, chances are it won't weigh enough to balance the glider.
Assemble the glider with all components, including the battery. The C.G. should be about 30% of the wing chord, that is measured back from the center leading edge. Add fishing weights or lead to achieve this.
You will need a towhook to launch with a hi-start, if your LHS doesn't have one, try Hobby-Lobby.com or a "Sailplane" site.
If you post with more specifics on the glider, I'll try to help!
Ron

Don't Really Know The Spec.'s
I Put A Pz Spinner On After Glassing It,still Neeeds More Weight Even With The 4 Cell So Im Look For Lead Thinking Of Filling The Spinner & Nose Area With Epoxy For More Rigidity
Its A 2 Meter...no Spoilerons

Without knowing the plane or seeing a photo is it impossible to really give you specific help. Can you post a picture?

Is it wood, fiberglass?

Is the wing built up with ribs and covered with plastic or does the wing have a hard surface like fiberglass or carbon fiber?

Are the wings flat, or do they bend up like the ones below?

Can you measure the wing span, tip to tip?

Does it have ailerons? Flaps? I think you said there were no spoilers.

What shape is the tail? Standard tail? V tail?

Does it have a stab/elevator or does the whole thing move?

Below are some photos of gliders. Tell me if it looks anything like any of them.

Here are some nose/equipment photos that might help:

In all cases the battery is located all the way forward. Then the electronics are moved as forward as possible to avoid having to add lead.

Did you ever find out the name of the glider?

How are you launching it?
