The myth is not that they can not pass gas or waste. The A.S. expands and ruptures their stomachs.
But do some research, all it is is a myth. Not true at all, nothing will happen if ingested.

Time for new friends, I suggest...
Besides, as far as I know, seagulls are protected, and killing them can get you into serious trouble. Got enough free time for a jail term? Maybe your "friends" have......

hmm ive never actually seen it happen, see it was just a saying that people would say if they're "cool" or something. Like being cool because they know stuff like bombs with Dry ice and water or sodium metal with water, its like when some older person tells them hey you can do this and they're like oh im so cool that i know this and say it to people.

just a tip. Pure sodium is incredibly unstable, And it will react with most chemicals/elements easier than you realize. So dont go messing with it.
All animals can burp and pass gas. Our bodies naturally build pressure, and if we didnt have a form of release something would rupture and we would die. Same goes with animals. The difference for us because we regularlysubject ourselves to different things that causes an accelerated or enlarged pressure buildup (Soda, beans, etc).
And please whatever you do. Dont try making a dry ice bomb. Regardless of its composition, a bomb is still bomb. Aswell, incase you didnt know. The reason dry ice feels warm to the touch is because it is incredibly cold. it is -109 degrees Farenheit, Sublimation temperature is -79 degree's (When it changes from a solid to a gas without melting)

Yeah i understand that how itis so cold it actually would burn your fingers. Nahh i do want to try the hot ice though, you know where you touch it with your finger and the liquid turns to ice now thats sweet

That is actually easy and very safe to do. There is a great video of that in the cool video post in this off-top ic thread. its one of the first few posts. Even i want to do that.

yeah well ive done my share of stupid things. Whats fun is getting a pressurized can of Silicon lubricant and a lighter....Take my advice and never do that though. My friend lit his thumb on fire for a second because some of the spray washed over it. before it lit. And if your combustible/flammable liquid does not spray faster than the fire can travel, it will eventually enter the nozzle and ignite the can. (happens faste rthan youd think).
What is fun is since the silicon lubricant is a thick material, you can spray it onto the ground (write letters and stuff) and light iton fire lol. itll burn for a few seconds.
