Here are some pics of my Park Scale Models 'Whim' series WWI planes. These planes build fast, you can have one built and ready to fly in a single day.

They feature a nifty little tray that allows you to move the receiver and ESC from one plane to the next in just a minute or so. They weigh between 3.5oz to 4oz, so can be flown inside a gym if available.

You can find more info here (http://http://www.parkscalemodels.com/shop/category.aspx?catid=21).

(I realize the Hawker Hind is a post WWI plane, but it sure looks great!)

You are not going to find many model designers/kit makers on the same level as Zeke. These kits are first class.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Might be a tad small for most outdoor occasions...but I do like that Fokker.

I have one of the SE5's I have been trying to fly indoors in a relatively small gym and its a touch too fast for safe flying. A larger venue would be better or even outdoors in light winds. I took all of about six ours start to finish to build the kit, other than sanding the little nubbies left over from the laser cutting it all fit together perfectly with no adjustments needed. I originally built it with the suggested LPS brushed setup but soon changed to a 10g outrunner for a little more power.
