It's from a company called Parkflyers.com - here's the link: http://parkflyers.com/ They are really a nice bunch of guys and they are pretty much local to me.

If its the 3 chanel version it should be ok, but the plane may be a bit fast. The 4 ch version, you should find a club/instructor for help.

I also bought one of the parkflyer 182's. Mine was the 4ch version. It was a mistake. I am new to RC flying and I found out that what was said earlier about the plane being a little on the fast side is true. I had practiced on a simulator program quite a bit but when I made my first take off with the 182 things started happening quickly. I found that I was way behind the aircraft and after about two laps around the park ( and 1 unintended loop ) the plane met the ground rather soundly. (broken wing, large crak in cockpit area of fuselage) I have applied liberal amounts of glue to the broken parts but think that I will practice some more on the sim before I try it again.Good luck with yours.

I got one of these last week as my first plane. I havent flown it yet. SO I cant comment about that yet.
Yesterday I went to my LHS & bought a Park Zone Super Decathlon to use as my first flyer because the guy at the hobby shop said it was good. I tried it once so far I tossed it at full trottle and she nose dived to the ground. Broke the prop & put some creases in the wing. Very discouraging I might add. I have been using FMS 8.5 to somewhat train in & can fly in the program pretty good. Today its too windy to try doing much more dirt eatting lol.

Yeah i haven't really flown mine either yet it's just hanging in the window of my buddy's hobby shop. But hopefully someday the wind will die down here as well.

If you guys could be more descriptive about what happened exactly during your maiden flight, maybe we could give you some pointers that would help.

But the main point here is that you really need to start with a plane that will go slow and easy.....or get an instructor and get lessons at a flying field...probably the only way a faster plane like that would survive your first flights.

Don't be discouraged! Just resist the temptation to get a plane that's "cool" looking and get a plane that is REALLY made for the beginning pilot, like a Slow Stick or EasyStar.

Still waiting for my decathlon to arrive.. thnx, im warned..

I have two flights with my cox F4.. the same story, a nose dive. I checked the CG, trimmed the elevator.. it seems at 20 meters after I toss it, it looses power and went down.
