Hi everybody. I'm trying to get started with robotics for helicopters
so I have to get rid of some ground robot stuff to fund it. I'm
located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. If you are interested, PM me please.
You would pay for shipping, but I can be reasoned with...

Here is what I have and a description:

============ =======
SUperdroid RObots ATR Robot Base w/ Rollcage, drive gearmotors (4),
and offroad tires (4)
$200

It looks like this without the headlights:

For more detail, it is almost exactly like this one
http://www.superdroidrobots.com/shop/imageview.asp?file=TP-070-000.jpg (http://www.superdroidrobots.com/shop/imageview.asp?file=TP-070-000.jpg)
except that the base is a plate (rather than a welded box) that the
motor mounts are bolted to, and it comes with an aluminum roll cage
that has an acrylic roof. THe tires are 6.75" in diameter and the
base is about 12" x 16". It uses 4 of these motors

This thing is big and heavy and shipping works out to be ~$90, but
I'd be willing to chip in if you woudl take some of the other larger
things off my hands...
============ =======
NiMH 24V, 4000mAh Battery Packs (x2) $50 each

Like this item, but 4000mAh. It has been used to discharge about 4-5
times.

============ =======
-OOPic-R Module $20

Used to make one small indoor robot, never used again. Practically
new condition.

============ =======
-Bluebot Base + drive servos + wheels $20

It is the chassis that is shown on this page with the wheels and
servo motors, except I replaced the original foam wheels with rubber
ones. It also comes with a bunch (about 4 or 5, I think) of the
sensor brackets. It's pretty much brand new since I just used it to
test out the OOPic-R module above.

the original poster might be a scammer - he just joined, made only 5 posts, and has not sold anything since listing his items for sale. And that was in OCTOBER!

Yeah, I still have them. I haven't actually used them up since I got them since I was trying to work out mechanical issues on the chassis.

Hi DKNguyen, do you still have your two MD03 controllers?
Do they BOTH work properly (despite one is damaged)?
If yes, I would like to buy them.

Same for your OOPic-R board.

Please tell me how to proceed (I have a Paypal account)
Thank you.

Alain.

THe OOPic-R board does work (as in I programmed it for a robot, had it run around for 30 minutes or so, disconnected it and packed it away and it's been there for 4 years). As for the MD03s I've never powered them up since I got them so I don't know if they work or not (was supposed to go into that big robot chassis that I also have for sale, but I gave up on that one). THe damage is limited to the area around one of the holes on the corner and no traces run there (except for the ground plane which runs everywhere). I should realy put up some photos of the type of damage it has. I'll do it tommorrow (or more accurately, after I get some sleep tonight).

I was about to offer to write some OOPic-R code to try and test the MD03s (it would take some time to relearn the programming structure used since it's been 4 years since I've touched it). It'd be my only option right now since I dont' have any other MCUs boards that have I2C outputs right now. But then I realized that my PC no longer has an RS-232 cable required to program the OOPic-R. So I should point out it was designed to be programmed with an RS-232 cable. ALthough if you have a USB-RS232 converter, the type that comes with some RC battery chargers, it should work since you can just select the virtual COM port in the software. But I also don't have an RS-232-USB converter.

Hello DKNguyen,

Thanks for your very quick reply.
Please don't bother about writing programs to test the MD03s.
They probably both work well (you said that one is even brand new), if no electrical shock, short circuit or whatsoever never happened to them.

Just please tell me your final price and how I can managed to pay you.
You must consider transport fees as I'm in France, but those should not be that big...)
I'll take the two MD03s and the OOPic-R board.

I used to buy through eBay (using PayPal), and if this could be a convenient solution for you, so let's go!
In that case, just let me know WHEN so that I'm sure to get the pack !
Otherwise, I'm fully opened to any other solution.

Maybe you should remove your address from the public post...it'd be safer to PM something like that. I'll follow this up on PM.

Oh, man I don't remember doing that. I went to take some pictures and it looks like I tried enlarging all 4 corner holes on one of the MD03s. There shouldn't be any circuitry running around those areas anyways so it should still work (although I will take a second close look at it again). ANd the holes are still usable to mount the board.

Here are the photos of both ends of the MD03

I'll have to wait until Caleipo gets back to me, because he did ask first. But right now it was $50 for one MD03, and $25 for the other, and about $15 to ship to the US via PayPal.

Oh, well he was the first one who replied directly to this thread. I didn't see your thread until a few days after I came to respond to his question.
