hi all, im new to Lipo batterys. tell me anythingyou know:D

#1 rule is to always monitor your lipo charge.
#2 always use li-polymer charger to charge your lipo pack
#3 never overcharge the battery, make sure the cell count and charge rate is set properly.
#4 if possible check each cell Voltage before charging and re-balance if more then 0.05V difference
#5 never short battery leads or tabs

All batterys store significant energy. Remember that and you will be better off.

To the good advice above I would add, never exceed 1c charges (so if you have a 1000 mA pack you charge at 1amp or less) I usually do slightly under 1c.

If a pack is crashed watch it carefully for swelling. If it starts get it to a place where it can vent (spell that shooting flames, fire and smoke) safely.

Read this - it will wake you up, but very good advice.
