Anybody know somewhere I could find the layout of the navigation/landing lights on an A-26? I'm in the process of building one and am planning to light it up (already got the remote switch and the LEDs, still working on the flashers), now I need to figure out where to put them.

Thanks

To Stanger89, there's a pretty good set of scale drawings on the Russian website http://membres.lycos.fr/wings2/3vues/3vues.html? then scroll to "Douglas A-26 Invader" Pages 1 and 2 are the views, # 3 is isometrics showing details of guns, cockpit, etc. The light locations are clear, although the rudder lights only show up in the top view, not the side.
Good Luck with the Invader!
Ron
P.S. Site has over 300 scale drawings!

Thanks for the link Ron. Couple questions if you don't mind :)

Wingtips are easy, looks like there's another right behind the bay doors, one at the tip of the tail.

Now, here's the ones I'm having trouble with:
There's at least one on top, but I'm not sure if it's right behind the cockpit, or above the window behind the wing. And then there's the landing lights, I think they're about 1/3 in from each wingtip but under the wing.
At least that's what I've been able to gather so far, and that on the real bird they "fold" down. I'm gona have to get creative with those I think

Hi Stanger89, glad the 3-views could help! I think the top (middle) light is shown on page 1, the 3rd side view down (the one that has landing gear extended). It's just in front of the Russian letter that looks like an "A". On the 2nd page wing drawing, just outboard of the flap/aileron joint there's a fitting that may be a lens, can't say for sure. There may be more info available from photos, I did a "Dogpile" search and came up with quite a few but didn't have time to look'em all up. Anyway, glad to help if I can!
Ron

Rather than repost the specs, here they are:
http://www.wingmfg.com/Pages/WingA26.html

I got the parts not included from here:
http://welasercut.com/lasercart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_3&products_id=11

As for power, I haven't decided specifically yet. At the moment I'm looking at AXI 2620/xx's with 4s lipo. I've got most of the airframe built, and I think it was about 5 lbs with the Spring-Air retracts but no radio gear. Based on the Wing MFG specs I was targetting/assuming a 10lb AUW, but I might make it in at somewhat less than that.

Oh, and I found a lighing kit that I'll be using in it:
http://www.curtek.com/

Pretty cool so far, I'll probably be more impressed when I get in installed/done.

Too Cool, I Also Am Deriving My Plans From The Wing Mfg. Kit.
Going To Build-up The Wing And Use Much Lighter Pieces.
Don't Need 3/16 Sides Or 1/4 Bottom Sheeting For An Electric.
I Built The Ic Version Years Ago And It Was Heavy.
Got A Friend Laying Out The Ribs In Comp U Foil Now.
Would Love To Hear How Yours Progresses.
I Also Am Going To Install Flaps And Retracts.
I'll Look At Power Options As I See How The Weight Is Progressing.
Also Thinking Of Making Round Nacelles Out Of Fiberglass Or Nylon.
