Hi All: I am hoping some of the "old-timers" who might be monitoring the site will be able to help me. My son's P51 from Blitz RCWorks, had an unfortunate crash. Fortunately, they suppled an extra engine mount so we thought we had it back together pretty quickly. Unfortunately we noticed that the battery door snapped in half and now won't secure the battery. I have been all over the web looking for parts, and there are a variety of parts from various places like Bananna Hobby (where we got the plane) and others for the P51, but they are parts like the fuselage, wings, props etc, not the battery door or engine mount. The battery door is made by Art-Tech, and this plane looks a lot like the Art-Tech P51, but when I went to Art-Tech's site, no battery door. I suspect it is going to be a hassle trying to deal with them since they are off in China. So I need to try to start to look for other sources of parts for the Battery Door, possibly the entire compartment, and for engine mounts. Any suggestions out there?

Rob,

Can you make one? How about posting a pic?

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank: I was search around and attached some velcro. I also see that the parkzone P-51 battery hatch looks similar but I don't know the dimensions of the parkzone part. I plan on sending them a message asking. I guess I was hoping to find some sources to parts in general for park flyers. I can find engine mounts, etc for gas planes and larger scale electrics but I am trying to find some of these lighter parts for the park flyers.
