Just got a used Berg 7P, but didn't get the program jumpers. Can anyone tell me if these can be made up with servo plugs? Does it have 2 wires or 3?
Also have a question about using the castle link. When you hook the 7P to the link, do you have a battery connected to power the receiver, or just power it with the link. The instructions, as I read them, didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.????

Yup you can use a servo lead and short the two wires yourself.
Pull the center wire and short the two outer ones together and you've got it.

Forgot your other question on powering the rx.
Id try it without an external battery and see what happens. Thats the easiest solution.
Its been so long sinse I tried the programming Ive forgotten how it goes :)

Thanks Larry3215 for the help. I'll try that today. This receiver was in a heli & I'm flying an electric sailplane. Mainly just want to make sure the failsafe mode is off. Not real sure I like the idea of my plane flying its self.;-)

duh.......:red: Plugged my Castle Link into my Berg 7P & the info I was seeking was there on the screen. You DO plug a battery pack into the receiver when connected to the link! DUH!!!:silly:
