Hope you folks out west came through all that mess ok.

Here's what I had to deal with tonight when I got home. The Valk is one big heavy hugger-mugger... It's been through a ton of wind storms and never blown over like this.

Blew apart our pool cover, probably have a hole in the bottom of the pool from a brick I kept in the cover, bot no other damage.

Lost the roof to my well house - I had built it myself out of corrugated fiberglass sheeting with a 2x4 frame that was anchored into the bricks with 1/2"x6" masonry lags --- pulled them right out. just glad it didn't choose to hit my house while it was airborne.

It's headed our way tonight. Already measured a wind gust of 45 on base. Supposed to get stronger later.

Hold on tight!:<:

Our west coast storm wasn't nothin compared to what it's doin in the east. There's another one forecast for tomorrow. Blew over a 1000 lb. bike, Don? Wow, that's some serious wind. How many people does it take to get a Valkerie up on it's wheels?

We got lucky, it has been really windy here but no damage that I am aware of anywhere. There were some isolated power and phone outages this morning but nothing serious.

It was Alpea. the thing has sat still when we've had a tornado pass by within two blocks and didn't move. It either was very gusty or momma clipped it with her car and ain't talking about it!! ;) (No damage on the side facing her car or her bumper though.)

Thank God for the enging guards on the Valkyrie!! I hurts to see you Valk down like that!!! I put mine down about 5 years ago when I was turning left into a car dealers lot in order to turn around. It was night and I couldnt see there was sand on the ground. The front tire started to slide and down she went. Lucky there wasn't any traffic and I was only going a few MPH. I did a dive roll on to my left shoulder but wasnt hurt, except for my pride. That was the 1st time I ever had any kind of accident riding on the street. I was ok but it is no small task picking up a Valkyrie by yourself. The engine guard saved the day and my Valkyrie was ok. I hope yours wasn't gamaged.

Damage to the guards because of the gravel and the rear bag took a hit and has some nasty scratches on it.

This is the thord time mines been down CTD. First time a cager ran a red light in front of me and I put it down instead of hitting him, number two was hitting a deer at 60 mph, now this. Drakkar is one tough bike though.

Shouldnt your bike be safely tucked in the garage? :) jk

I've seen about 3 bikes this week out on the road here. I'm waiting till the sand gets cleaned off the road b4 I go out.

Thats smart Dave. The sand I hit was due to some ongiong crack filling they were doing on the streets. I was temped to take mine out Tuesday when we had a freakish 65 degree day. However I didnt indluge myself.....I flew instead!!

Garage??!! Our barn has a dirt floor, we live on one of the last gravel roads in West Tennessee, and are lucky to have a car port to tuck the vehicles in... :D

The next pacific storm headed outta here to the east is stronger than the last one. We got 2-3 " of rain, hail and gusty winds. We're forecast for 3-4 days of building high pressure, nice weather now
