Hey I see the raffle page is starting to get updated. If history repeats itself it is going to be huge once again.

The best raffle I have ever seen, anywhere. I hear it was close to $30k worht of stuff they gave out last year.::o:cool:

If last years history repeats itself Kev, you won't have to worry about Bill winning anything for you. I think he sucked it all out the year before.:D

I see. I still have the Super Cub I won last year at SEFF. Hopefully I can start teaching my son with it this year.

Bill if you hit it like you did in 07 i think you should share with everyone on here LOL. I really want to come this year but don't know if I can talk my dad into going for at least one day, a lot of people wants to meet him.
maybe I should start a poll and see how many people wants to meet Everydayflyer :)

I like to think of it as donating my money to the event every year. I have yet to win :). Well..I can't say that, I did win a 3S pack off of someone elses ticket two years ago. Maybe that is the trick. Two people buy tickets and swap!

Lets do that this year Bill! ;)

The past two years since Don and I rode the bikes I was afraid I'd win something I couldn't carry back home...Now that I'm going to be in the wagon and will have plenty of space, I'm sure I still won't win anything substantial....

But it won't stop me from trying...

I saw a post from Jeff Meyers elsewhere that the organizers were a bit disappointed with the donations for the raffle so they put up some cash (in the thousands) and worked some deals with sponsors. They bought a lot of the new raffle prizes that you see on the page today. I am sure they got very good prices since they were buying from sponsors but give the Fayette Flyers credit for assuring that the SEFF Raffle will be as big as ever even with this economy in its current condition.

I noticed that, too. Very, very gracious of them! I was beginning to pine over the lack of batteries in the raffle and was hoping an E-Flite Pitts 12 would make it in. Low and behold, I checked this morning and there they were!

There are no monster 10S packs listed this year (last year had two, I think ... one ThunderPower and one PolyQuest/Enerland) and I was kind of hoping JR would donate a 12X, but I'm really excited to see so much great stuff. I had just been thinking, "Man, it sucks that the economy is screwing with the raffle donations this year!" So this was a nice Friday surprise. :D

I updated the SEFF site this morning with the latest of the sponsors and raffle prizes. The last item should be the Hoffman Mangetics Storm 70 EDF/Motor unit. I got to fondle it Saturday when it showed up on my doorstep before sending it off Jeff's way. Really nice unit.

There could be some more surprises in the Raffle that are not on the page, but my work here is done :)

I just won the JRx9303 and the 89" slick. The drew early just for me. No use in you guys buying anymore tickets or showing up for that matter :)

Just noticed some other stuff got added into the middle of the page, too ... very cool to see Hobby Lobby offering a couple more nice scale planes in with the prizes!

I noticed that the link for the Waco takes you to the full RTF combo at Hobby Lobby's site. Are they actually putting an entire RTF combo into the raffle, or just the ARF?
