Does anyone have any experience with RC Plane Master? It looks like a step up from FMS.

ive tried it. dunno about a step up on fms. because fms is free you get a whole lot more than just a sim.

It's supposed to come with about 20 planes and have an upgrade of 10 0r so additional planes.

It sounds like FMS doesn't have very realistic physics. Is center of gravity, wing load and all that stuff modifiable in either one?

i dont recall actually...sorry...isnt there a demo for it?

i think that unless you go the whole simulator experience, then you are only going to learn bad habits if the physics arent correct...

so better to learn orientation and judgement etc with fms or plane master etc...dont expect too much from them thats all..they do their job very well.

RealityCraft Plane Master IS a rip off.
FMS, in spite of the criticism regarding the physics, is pretty good. Some of the models are a bit off, I guess thats what you get shareware. Some of the models are about as good as you'll find.
PlaneMaster has a few models and non of them are really very good. At first I was impressed by the ease of using the menu and the capability of split screen and "combat". What a bunch of fluff.
FMS has a simple, straightforward Windows style drop-down menu with many more options that are easier to access.
Somehow, in combination with all the people that are using FREE 3-D modeling software to create planes, this has turned out to be one of the better sims out there. IT IS CERTAINLY THE BEST DEAL!
