Figured I would share some pics of my Farmen. It isn't finished but was close enough to fly so I broke it out this weekend. WOW, what a easy to fly plane, wings have a lot of dihadrel. This is a nice kit and a fine flying airplane. I will post more pics when I get the detailing done. Hope you enjoy.

That's a cool plane! What's the span, and how much does it weigh?

I think it is 43 inch span, it probably weighes around 20- 25 ounces. Seems to have a lot of power w/ thunder power 1320 3 cell and small bell outrunner. Thanks, it is a nice short kit that flies well. www.manzano.com

Much better.

I am a little confused as to what a "short kit" is. No pre-cut wood and instructions/plans optional. I already have dozens of them on the shelf ????

What would I get in their "short kit" vs "full kit" vs using my own stock and plans? Sorry to sound like a noob.:silly:

Short Kit is just some laser cut parts, usually difficult ones to make. No stringers or sheet wood, does come w/ dummy radial, and cord for tires. Thanks for posting more pics Kent. Kent is my pro photographer. I have many great pics of my planes, Thanks.

dbcisco,

Generally the Manzano kits include all ribs , formers , wheels and moulded plastic if applicable . You would need to supply all "straight" sticks , music wire for LG , struts... and chord for flying wires .

Hope this helps...:)
