I think once you add scenery and new models it looks pretty good. Take a look at the TREX model....

Hi,

Where did you get the landscapes from that are in the picture?

Would you be able to give me any websites i could get them from...planes and heli's too?

Thanks

Yep, the scenery makes all the difference. The stock landscape makes it look cheap. But with decent scenery and a cheap homemade controler interface its a darn good time.

My FMS graphics don't look anything like that! How did you do it? Would a graphics card help? If there's a trick, please let me know.
Thanks,
Bud

Foamies,
What do you mean your video card is lack of? Does that mean you don't have one ?
I don't know much about computers so I don't know if I have one or not.
Please expound.
Thanks,
Rib

No Im sorry for saying that, You have one and so do I we all have one otherwise we wouldnt be seeing anything on the moniter, mine is just really old and kinda crappy need a new one. Video cards are what makes the colors bright and all(well a good moniter works also)

Well it's not the video card alone that is responsible for that background. Several like it can be downloaded from various sites.
Any link for this particular one ?

A couple of good ones here:
http://www.rc-sim.de/index_en.htm
Go to downloads ... the hit the DL link at the bottom.... go to FMS ..... then do the quick jump to either version 7 scenes or version 2.8 scenes.

Go to the FMS Homepage at:
http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html

and follow the links. :)

P.S. you can also Google "fms models" as well

I don't have a clue what that might be? Are you using Firefox?

Just download Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/central
and you don't need to worry about any of that. It'll work with your firewall (assuming that it isn't something weird) and it'll block pop-ups. It also has some pretty amazing add ons and it has the added benefit of not being a piece of poo poo from Mickeysoft.

Vendetta, any chance you could upload the scenery file for the one in your pictures?
