Great Planes flatouts (ARF) are pretty inexpensive brand new. Might check them out if you can't find a used one here.

You can always get a piece of depron (I use foam posters from the dollar store) and an X-acto knife...:D

forget depron. dollar store foam board. $1.50 gets you an airframe. For just tossing around in the back yard who cares if it's slightly hevyer and curved.

That's our plan. We have one Yak that I got my boy for Christmas. I have just bought another that I am using as a template to cut more of my own for when we tear up the ones we have!:o:Q

The GP flatouts also come WITH a brushed motor for $25. but its just the Zero and J3 cub thats still available.
I have the zero and flys well.
