Hi everybody,

I am new in the brushless business, although I have experience with gasengines.
I bought a brushless engine from Lighting Brushless Systems and it works fine.
Is it possible to move the shaft of this engine to the other side?, because the way it is now, means difficulties to build it into the plane.

Thanks for all your help,
mayday.

Is this an outrunner motor? (I know some people use engine and motor interchangeably, but brushless/electric engine sounds strange the same way gasoline motor sounds strange :)).

You don't need to reverse the shaft. You can reverse mount it so instead of mounting the propeller/pinion onto the motor shaft, you instead mount it onto the end of the spinning can. THis requires a piece of metal that's like a shaft on a screw-mounted base that you screw onto the other end the other end of the motor to produce a new shaft.

Thanks for your help, will see if I can fix it that way. And from now on, I will use the word electric motor instead of engine.
Thanks again, muchas gracias, bedankt.
