Hi to all,
My venom 3D was tail heavy and even with the battery as far forward as it would go the tail was still heavy,(may explain why it takes off in reverse ),,because I was a bit bored waiting parts, I swapped the battery and rx positions, batt. up front, under where the rx was and the rx where the batt was,,.Balance is great..
Has anybody tried this,I would like to know if disaster is pending before the new parts arrive and I get me in to trouble.
The front is very slightly down, trim should take care of that,I hope.
Can someone also tell me the order the servos plug into the rx please?
Thanks.

The servo closest to the nose of the heli plugs into slot number 3.

With the nose of the heli facing towards you, the servo on your left plugs into slot number one.

The one on your right obviously plugs into number 2.

(I wrote on each servo which plugs they go into)
I would double check that everything seems to be responding correctly before flying though.

Thanks, I meant to mark them but forgot, does your venom balance ok without moving the battery?.

Not really, had the same balance as you. That was a good idea swapping the battery with the rx. Don't see why that would be a problem. Just wondering, was your reciever originally mounted with the controls facing out to the right of the heli? I was looking at the exploded view in the manual and it had the reciever mounted with the controls facing skywards. The LED on mine doesn't light up either, and it will rotate right even with full left trim. Probably going to send it to venom to take a look at it or try a new tail motor. Let me know how it goes

I have a double sticky taped lead weight that I bought in a scale train section it is a stick that you can bend off 1/4 OZ weights at a time and just stick it onto the front of the RX. It is more weight though which may make your idea better let me know how it works out. Watch for glitching. I also saw another guy tape 2 quarters into the nose of his canopy to offset.
