I have changed the stock props to some 9x7 APC's so the next flight wont be as weak.

Thanks everyone, those are encouraging words!

I'm having decals made this week. All black stars and bars, and all black lettering/numbering, plus the black "Spooky" ghost logo.

Should look real nice.

I already swapped out the props for some APC 9x7's and according to the fish pull scale, I gained 3 lbs of thrust. I'm confident that the next flight will have a bit more rate of climb than the last one did.

Oh my my.... I have a whole new airplane on my hands.

With a simple prop swap up to a pair of 9x7 APC's, the Polk C-47 is a great flier now.

Went to MCAS Miramar today, and flew off of that perfectly paved runway. It was a real treat to fly my first side by side twin with some authority. I believe my current setup is just right, but to fly with confidence off of my more local dirt runway field at Mission Bay, I'll increase the tire size to a 2.5" wheel as the 9 inch props are real close to the deck when the tail rises off at V1.

Great plane, I'll get many hours with this one. She's a keeper.

Nitro, nice bird and flight.

Watched the field you fly at and it reminded me of a field I visited several months back in San Diego. I was there for a ESRI Conference and just so happens that we were driving by and I seen an RC Plane flying. We decided to make a quick stop and sure as hell, it's the same spot.. Nice ...

Thanks for sharing !!

If you find yourself in my town again, lemme know, and I'll be sure to have some sticks to put in your hands for some air-time at that field!
