My GOD you get sooo high in your plane

Do you have a rough idea of how high you go

I have no idea. I have ezOSD on the twinstar 2 now, but I guess im around 900-1000m on that clip.

Really, but it looks ever so high, i have onboard videos on my parkzone radian, and when i come to watch them none of them look that high, and even then i'd thought i had flown up to about 2000m....???

Good videos

I need to buy a 30amp esc to get me glider work for more AP:{

Do you use fpv via goggles or monitor etc? or do you use onboard recorder?

Hope you get your plane up and flying soon :)

Take a look at this video i recorded some time ago. You can add +150m to the alt reading. I didnt wait for satelite lock until i was airborne. Distance would be -275m

Sam,
That's about 3000 ft.! Incredibly high!
Having a small plane like the Twinstar at that altitude takes very good vision and very good filtered sunglasses. If you take your eyes off the plane for even a second, well...it's really hard to find it again.

Yes...i usually fly my parkzone radian as high as i can get it, sometimes its like a tiny dot in the sky, as i carry on staring at the distant plane my eyes always start to strain, before i go to look away and end up loosing the plane, i go into a nose dive to a safe altitude so that when i look back up i see the plane perfectly wthout having to quickly look all over the sky to find it...
