Hi guys

i am new in the Helis i had a raptor mini titan.

I am thinking for a bigger one especially between a trex 500 and a trex 600.

i would like to hear your opinion for these two helis.

thanks a lot

Hey Kristy, Hows the boom block in the 600, the 500's a pain in the butt with belt changes...

what I ment was... is it more like the block on the 450's and 250's?

changing the belt on the 500 is quite involved, you have to dissasemble the tail, boom, boom struts... just to change a belt... (It's a pain)

My opinion is that you should look beyond Align. Have you seen the Raptor 620e? If you're familiar with the Raptor, that might be a better choice for you in a 600mm. If you can charge the batteries, a 600 is a great size compared to a 500.

Not a pain for me, the ESP is torque tube:Q

LOL, I was thinking that it was better to change out the Belt on th 500 for the TT for that reason...

I did hear of one problem with TT, in that if you catch a tail rotor on longish grass then it will strip the front cog....but not had it happen to me, so cant really comment properly.

I fly a 10s 600E and 600NP and like them both.
The boom block is solid and very simple to remove and re install, more bolts than anything.
Maybe a 15 min job. No belt to line up or thread.
Front tt gear is the failure point for tail blade strikes.
Putting a 700 vertical fin on it solves that.
