First question, how old is your sister?

I have the FC2, great plane for what you get. Only downside is you can't take the electronics with you to another plane. Otherwise, a great first plane (like it was for me). And, I still fly it every time, even though I now have 5 planes to choose from.

LOL, as soon as I saw "10" I thought "Aero Ace". But I see it's too late for that. I have no experience with the Wing Dragon, so I am biased to the FC2. I will let someone with a Wing Dragon chime in also.

Wing dragon is a POS. One of our flying cabal had one. Awful radio. Flew poorly IMHO.

Commander 2. It is built tough...

If you are an experienced pilot who can help her, then consider these.

The Commander can not handle wind as it has no elevator. If she will fly in calm conditions, the Commander will work well.

However the Aerobird Challenger, which is based on a similar design, but is a 3 chanel plane is now $109.

Today I flew the Hobbico Sky fly. At $99 it is a great package also.

I can recommend either plane.

I had the complete opposit experience simply because I flew mine to death and it still hangs in the basement and I'll probably ressurect it someday.

It is a brick (24 oz) but mine flew very well, granted the radio they used to send with them was a cheap 27 mhz 3 channel but the newer ones come with 72 mhz 4 channel radio and reciever. Heck the servos from my WD are in my SlowStick now. :D

The deal HL has on them is pretty hard to beat and if you look around ebay you can find extra batteries for $20 a pair shipped.

Heck here's a couple of videos of mine. The first one prooves they're waterproof. LOL
