I bought Dubro E-Z connectors for my slow stick. Everyone recommends them but when i tighten the screw onto the pushrod, it does not get tight enough. i tighten as far s the screw will go and that is not far enough. the pushrod just slides out and is not secure. am i missing something?

i had to use the connectors that came with my easystar instead. those worked. anyone know where i can get more of those?

by the way, i just looked on hobby people and they have an easystar RR (Receiver Ready) w/Servos/ESC kit for $119.99.
it is on backorder though

The ones you bought are to large then. You want the Micro ones. They come in different sizes.

Which ones did you get? The aluminum or brass ones? The brass ez connectors are for larger servos and bigger pushrods. If you havethe brass 121s you'll have to either get a longer set screw or do what I did once and carefully grind about 1/32" of an inch off the top of the connector.

I get my 845s off ebay, you can sometimes find them there for $1.50 w/$1.50 shipping even on multiple quantities.

Yep, there you go. The 845's are the ones you want. I couldn't remember the part # because I buy them in 12 packs that has a part # of 915 I believe.

Be careful when putting them on. I get them started with hand pressure. Then, when I have the hole of the retainer (the black part) square to the pin, I carefully squeeze it with a needlenose pliers. Then, about the last quarter mm or so, just squeeze it on with your fingers.

If you're ham-fisted with the pliers when doing this, you could screw something up.
