Hi Mark,
Here is an Idea.... Why not have some WattFlyer Logo's made? I would proudly display them on every plane in my fleet. Sell them at a decent price, and different sizes. Great way to advertise. And we could generate extra cash for the site. And It's not like you're tring to make anything off of us. I'm sure others like myself are proud to be a part of this forum. It seems only natural to adorn our ships with our Logo.

If you don't wish to use the cash for the site, we could always have a contest or something every now and then. We could even give the money to some kind of charity. I really hope some of you bat this idea around and see what we come up with.

Regards
Steve

I have had a couple requests already on this so I am having the logo created in Adobe Illustrator (vector art) which should be done today. Once complete I'll send to my vinyl guy who will make a few samples for me to sign off on. If all is good I'll put his info here on WattFlyer and anyone who wants some can contact him directly and order them. He does absolutely fantastic work and his prices are perfect. He can even do these in one color or several depending on your specific needs and custom orders. All sizes from under an inch to a couple feet and anywhere in between. I'll keep you posted on this and I hope to have these available within a week or two at most.

Thanks.

Marc

Pick up logos in jpg an illustrator format here.

http://www.wattflyer.com/logos/

the zip file is the same as the .ai (illustrator) file just zipped up.

The jpg is a higher res 300 dpi version. If anyone needs custom file types or sizes and cannot work with these files just PM me.

thanks steve.

BTW...on the ones where people buy them from the vinyl person we use (Ken Isaac) we will forward all of our portion of the profits to either The Human Society (http://www.hsus.org)and/or ASPCA (http://www.aspca.org)registered charities.

I set up a cafe for Wattflyer apparel using the logo's that Marc provided. These products are not for profit and are listed at cost. I have ordered a few items from my other storefronts and the quality is pretty good. I still have a long sleeve T that is holding up well after two years.

Yes they look very nice and they even go up to real adult sizes..... 3x Which is nice as the older some of us get the larger sizes come in very handy.
Also you can download the logo and print your own stuff, by getting the t-shirt print paper or window film, or what ever. I will add the logo to my FB Scout today.

Worked with the graphic in Printmaster and som sticker paper and there it is. Instant ad fir anyone to see when I fly.

Ken just finished up the WattFlyer logo decals in vinyl. They look fantastic. I will have him post some pics and pricing for the various sizes and color options. Everyone who wants them can get them directly from Ken who owns his own vinyl cutting business RC Graphics Zone. WattFlyers portion of profit proceeds will go to ASPCA and The Humane Society charities (www.aspca.org (http://www.aspca.org/) & www.hsus.org (http://www.hsus.org/) ).

Cafe Press does hats, shirts, etc and all sorts of stuff with the logo on it. Mike Parsons set it up for WattFlyer. They allow you to mark items up for our profit but he/we set it to zero markup so you are paying our cost on those sorts of items.

I am working on it. I like the idea of adding where the proceeds go on the shirts. Needs to be a catchy one liner me thinks. "Electrifying the community for our four legged friends" or something like that.

"no you cant play with my stick"
"prfessional crash analyst at work"
"please stand back, I have no clue as to what I am doing"

or something else
