Was finally able to get these water-slide decals to work. Wanted to decorate my golden age Cleveland (pseudo) Air Racer with things I see in the photos I have accumulated over the last year or so. The decal on the tail was the logo for the 1932 Air Race in Cleveland. I added the text. The gulf oil decal and the "men with wings" I found on photos of that ere (golden age between WWI and WWII). What do you think?:D

That is really nice.
Are these decals you make with an inkjet printer?

I had no luck creating anything with an ink jet printer because ink jets use a water soluble ink. Using water to slide the decal causes the ink to run. Didn't matter if I sprayed it with clear acrylic or not, the ink still ran. These were printed on decal paper using a Tektronics printer that uses wax instead of ink (it has things that look like crayons inside that melt and are sprayed onto the medium). The ink does not run.

Oh yes. The Phasor is a great printer. Too rich for my cheap blood.
Nice results though.
The printer I really want is a model from Alps that can print white.

Water Slide Decals are Great!!
I guess I can agree with that statement now:
After becoming an expert at piecing torn waterslides together, turning a "would be" total loss into a perfect looking decal, where the tears are perfectly aligned and can't even be seen.
