I've got some new sources for you, for these I must thank my buddy Tim Hooper for his "Links" thread on E-Zone, where I "borrowed" these links! first up, a really fun "Home Page", Kenny's Old Time Model Airplane Magazine". Kenny features free plans, reprints of stories from Flying Aces, Bill Barnes Air Trails, Model Airplane News. A color sample cover, solid model plan, Archives, links and plenty of nostalgia.

Next we have a plan source of reprints and re-drawings from vintage Aeromodeller magazine, 2500 plan sets, also copies of the original construction article and a color cover reproduction.

Also from Great Britain, RepliKit is supplying short kits from original designs; Keil Kraft, Veron, Mercury, Frog. Included is full sized plans, printed ribs, formers, strip wood, ply, canopies (where needed). These are for Free Flight, Control Line, Jetex, Rubber Power, Flying Scale.

Very nostalgic Sky Sharkster, I built and flew some of the Kiel Kraft rubber designs like Senator and Eaglet in the 1940's and 50's. Nice to know these designs are still available,

Hello Bos, Welcome to the Old Timers Forum! I built some of the K/K/V Jetex designs back in the '50's, at the time they were state-of-the-art! Also a FF towline glider, I believe it was the "Ghost" or "Swan", tip dihedral (only), pod-and-boom fuselage, it had an offset towhook to help (?) it tow straight and a dethermalizer which I forgot to light! Of course it caught a big thermal...sigh. What a beautiful glide. Anyway they got me started in this crazy hobby so it wasn't all bad!

Hello Ron, yes I remeber Jetex. I had a small model around 1953 which flew very well. I think the motors have returned, remeber seeing an advert recently.

These days I prefer nice slow models so I'm thinking about replacing my old Electro Tutor (a Graham McAllister design) which like me is well past its prime! I've been looking at a Super 60 which is available here in kit form, should fit the bill nicely,
