Hey Bill, if you see this give us her first name so we can pray for her.
I've spent too much time in hospitals this last year with my wife and mom having cancer, so I know where you are. Great news is they are both healed, praise God.

Hey everyone and a super thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers.
Kelly is doing a lot better today. They moved her from ICU to a room this afternoon. Her lung appears to have recoverd and holding. She did have some bleeding still but that stopped later on and they were able to take the chest tube out as well. She is still in a lot of paind but not as bad.
I came home to pick her up a few things to make her a bit more comfortable. The procedure she was having was a one day deal so we were ill prepared for an extended stay.
Thanks again everyone.

Well they let her come home today.
We just got home and I've got her put to bed and she is resting well. The Doc said everything looked good lung wise and she would recover better resting at home. They put her on bed rest for a week so she can fully recover.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments and thoughts and prayers!
It means a lot to both of us!

Thats great news Bill. Thanks so much for sharing with us. A lot of us say people here are like family. I guess in some ways it really is.:)

Thanks again Guys and gals...
Yes Steve it does feel like family around here. It is so cool to know that there are still folks out there who care about other people. Sometimes it seems like it's every man for himself, and usually it is, but then you have places like this where we can share good times as well as tough times and get support all the while.
I'll say it again. THANKS EVERYONE!

Just a quick update. Kelly is doing good. Actually got out of the house for a while yesterday. It will still be a while before she is fully back to normal.
A good sign this morning though. The UPS truck pulled up with a gift from Doppleganger. The first question out her mouth was "What have you ordered now:eek: !" She's getting better quicker than I thought.
Steve She loved the bear! It really lifted her spirits. When she is up to it she's going to make a post of thanks to all you guys and gals out there.
(p.s. The fudge was really good too! ummmm... at least that's what she said anyway:) )
