Ok let me get this straight. We vote for a commercial so that Laine gets to look at the hot chicks and his buddy gets $20,000; hhmmm  So, what do I get out of this deal. Oh wait; I live in a free and safe country because of Laine. I guess that this is the least that I could do.:)

I vote 10 times:D :p :D

I suppose your right Old Man. We need that wisdom and you need wheel chairs.

2 of my 3 kids were born at Langley. Not a bad place at all.

You don't know how far off you really are. I have been typing a research paper for the past 15 hours. I guess I need a chair with more padding.:o I have a serious case of TV butt. I think that it about time to go for a jog.

lmopar69
04-27-2006, 03:47 AM
I hear ya on the jog and the more padding on the chair part. I havent done PT in 4 weeks, I feel like Ive gained 10lbs. Of course, my wifes cooking has something to do with that too. Man that girl can cook!

Ok that will be enough about the home cooking. Old Lady has been working in Texas for the past 12 weeks. I end up cooking almost every night. Some how it just tastes better when some one else cooks. Oh well just a few more weeks and our house will be for sale and we will be Texas bound.

lmopar69
04-27-2006, 03:59 AM
I feel your pain. Mine went to texas for a week. Even my buddies were calling her. they were begging for her to come home because my cooking was so terrible. Who knew you couldnt deep fry a peanut butter and jelly sandwitch?

Old Man
04-27-2006, 04:06 AM
I can cook. It is just that I am taking 14 credit hours, working 25 hours a week at Lowes, 12 hours a week at a local middle school and trying to get a house ready to sell. Oh did I mention that I take Old Lady to the airport every Monday morning at 5:00am and pick her up every Friday at 7:30pm it her flight is on time. I still don't know what she is doing all week at the airport.

lmopar69

sounds about as bad as my schedule. Hang in there. Just like for me, it should all be worth it in the end.

Old Man
04-27-2006, 04:14 AM
I hear you. The good part is that I only have two more weeks of school. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is not New Jersey. I just want to have this move behind me.

I havent done PT in 4 weeks
Man, I haven't even THOUGHT of PT in over 15 years! Plus, having been in the Air Force, PT usually consisted of a 3 mile run once every 3 months!

And just think, had I stayed in, I would have hit 20 in December 2004.

Dont forget, VOTE FOR #338

Contest ends today sometime. We have him in a decent lead right now, lets get the word out and get some more votes in there! Great job all! And thanks for the help.

CRX, my brother was in the A.F. for a few years. And he complained!!!! I told him he could come sleep in a truck in Iraq with me for the 2 years I spent over there. Then he would have room to complain.

Well, competition is over. Here is a copy of the message I got from Brian this morning...
"I think we won the internet vote, and we had Johnnys support, but we didnt win. It was one of them I havent even seen, done by two teenagers. Aparantly, our commercial was predictable.

We had a hell of a run though.

thanks to everyone that voted."

Oh well, its all good, and thanks for all the help everyone! Too bad he didnt win though, we certainly did our part.
