I'd like to know how those of you who work with digital video (DV-AVI) hande interlacing? Do you deinterlace, and if so with what program?

I deinterlace using AviSynth, you have to take a bit of time to learn the scripting, though.
Non-deinterlaced video is not usable on PC, unless you encode using half of the vertical resolution, then it doesn't matter since the encoder throws away the other field.

I'm using virtualdub to do my deinterlacing now. I tried a number of deinterlacers, and I'm happy with the results from this one (smart deinterlace) - I don't want to go to double framerates, so this seems to be the best solution for me.
