I have a Ikarus F3A shocky which is near its end and i am looking at 2 planes.

1. The E-Flight Tensor
2. The Ikarus Yak

Has anybody flown both these models how do they compare?
Also what are each planes vices and weaknesses?

decided not 2 go with the tensor after looking in some build threads on RC Groups everyone was complining it was 2 fragile. I might go with one of the new Weston UK models advertised in RCM&E the Hype or Groove

Bibe lover i was having a look at that plane at sandown it is very nice but i think ill get a shocky (Yak54) and copy all the pieces on to some 3 mm i have lying around so i have a replacement for the carbonfibre pieces i have on my current shocky(F3A)

I have an unbuilt kit for an F3A, which I am planning to build in the near future. Currently Im flying an Eflite Tribute.

How did your F3A perform? What setup did you use? General impressions on the F3A?

Take a look at Thundertigers 3d's as well. Haven't built one but the kit looks nice. Seen the Christian eaglel built by one of our customers. Beautiful airplane. He said it was easy to put together. Had it done in 2 hours. Have not seen him fly it yet. Looking forward to it.

We will be putting a Yak54 eflight together to fly as we had one come in damaged. Nothing a true modeler can't fix so it's ours. :)

Hi Watts up,
I have flown both the Tensor and the Ikarus Yak. They are very different planes, the tensor is strickly a 3d style indoor plane If U are good at rudder turns are really in to do indoor 3d style flying it can be a blast, but very fragile. The Yak flies more like a normal plane and in my opinion is better for all around flying both indoor and out. I have been very happy with the one have.
