Take a look at either the E-flite Power 46 or 60, depending on your flying style.

You will want a 5S battery for the 46 and a 6S battery for the 60. In either case the battery should be capable of providing at least 45 AMPS. A Castle Creations Phoeinx 80 would be my ESC of choice with a UBEC from http://www.koolflightsystems.com/ . You can also use a traditional reciever battery instead of the UBEC.

The old ACE 4 series are great flying planes even if they are slightly heavy.

Replace "liteply"? fuse with balsa. Make new formers from balsa ply. Should lighten up plane considerably.
I converted a 4-20 to E.P. by replacing ply with balsa. Flew great with Axi2814-10 until a tree reached out. I have to make an entirely new wing as most of the original was trashed.
Good luck with your conversion. jollyroger
